Announced allocations

The Logan River WSS is running with the following announced allocations:

AA High
Last updated 1 July 2010
100%
AA Medium
Last updated 1 July 2010

100 %

Parameters used in Calculating Announced Allocations

Formula for AA High
  • 100% where the AA Medium is greater than 0%
  • When the AA Medium is 0%, the AA High must be calculated using the following formula as set out in s92 of the Logan Basin Resource Operations Plan:

AAHP = ((UV+DIVHP-TOA)/HPA)x100

Parameters for AA High Priority calculation
The following parameters were used in calculating the current AA High:

UV (Useable Volume) NA
DIVHP (High Priority Diversion) NA
TOA (Transmission and Operational Allowance) NA
HPA (High Priority Water Allocations) NA

Formula for AA Medium
AAMP = ((UV+IN-HPA+DIVHP-RE+DIVMP-TOA)/MPA) x 100

Parameters for AA Medium calculation
The following parameters were used in calculating the current AA Medium:

UV (Usable Volume)  42,703 ML
IN (Assumed Minimum Inflow)  2,384 ML
HPA (High Priority Water Allocations)  9,856 ML
DIVHP (High Priority Diversion)  0
RE (Reserve)  5,000 ML
DIVMP (Medium Priority Diversion)  0
TOA (Transmission and Operational Allowance)  4,132 ML
MPA (Medium Priority Water Allocations)  13,557 ML

Please refer to the Logan Basin Resource Operations Plan for further details regarding High Priority and Medium Priority Announced Allocations in the Logan River Water Supply Scheme.
