12 months of data proves water quality
The SEQ Water Grid now produces a monthly Customer Confidence Report (Bulk Water) on the quality of the region’s bulk drinking water with monitoring provided by Seqwater and other Grid entities.
For the first time the community has access to a range of water quality data based on four zones across south east Queensland. The Customer Confidence Report (Bulk Water) is a commitment by the State Government to water quality and transparency of the ongoing monitoring which is an essential part of Water Grid management.
With the release of the May report this week, south east Queensland residents now have access to twelve months of data that proves the SEQ Water Grid provides safe, quality water that meets all Australian Drinking Water Guidelines.
To date, the region’s water has passed with flying colours demonstrating 100 per cent compliance against health microbial, health chemical and aesthetic indicators meeting all Australian Drinking Water Guidelines.
Results of the May Customer Confidence Report (Bulk Water) can be viewed at http://www.seqwgm.qld.gov.au/Customer-confidence-report.aspx
