As part of the site preparation works for Lake Macdonald Dam Improvement Project, geotech investigations will commence from Monday 15 July through to 31 August 2024. During this time, the Mary River Cod Park will be temporarily closed to the public.

Perch Park/Lake Macdonald Park (via Lake Macdonald Drive), including the boat ramp, will remain open. Visitors may still use this boat ramp to access the lake.

For your safety, and the safety of others, please follow the direction of staff and signage on site. We will re-open Mary River Cod Park as soon as it is safe to do so.
