Seqwater is engaging in civil works at Maroon Dam that will benefit user experience and safety at these sites. Works will include:

• Repairing and resurfacing the recreation access roads.
• Stormwater drainage system improvements.
• Formalising car parking facilities.
• Improving disability access to site facilities.
• Installing/upgrading signage.
• Installing bollards to non-trafficable areas at Maroon Dam Recreation area.

Works are scheduled to commence from 6am Thursday 20 February 2025 (subject to weather and site conditions) and expected to be completed by Wednesday 30 April 2025.

The recreation areas at Maroon Day Use Area, Slater Park and Maroon Dam boat ramp at Slater Park, will be closed between 6.00am Monday and 4.00pm Friday during construction work. The areas will be open on weekends and public holidays.

During the closures, please follow any traffic signage in place.
