Seqwater has welcomed 13 new graduates and trainees into an exciting two-year program to kickstart their careers in the water industry.
Six graduates will be mentored across Seqwater’s science, engineering and finance disciplines, while seven trainees will develop their skills and knowledge in drinking water treatment leading to a nationally recognised Certificate III qualification.
Seqwater’s 2025 graduates and trainees will be given the opportunity to work with experts in the industry who serve South-East Queensland and are integral in the delivery of clean, safe drinking water for more than 3.8 million people.
Minister for Water, The Hon Ann Leahy, welcomed the next generation of water professionals this week as they commenced their careers in the world of water.
More than 50 participants have taken part in Seqwater’s Next Generation program over the last three years.
