Tarragindi Reservoir valve replacement works

Seqwter is undertaking planned maintenance work at Tarragindi Reservoir during July and August 2024.

As part of our commitment to ensuring a safe and reliable water supply for South East Queensland, we are planning two valve replacements along the bulk water supply pipeline at Tarragindi Reservoir.

These works will include the replacement of two valves either side of the water inlet pipeline to reservoirs in Tarragindi which supply water to parts of south and east Brisbane. (See map). These works will significantly enhance the long-term reliability of the area’s water supply network.

General information

  • During these periods, you may notice a slight increase in worker traffic accessing the reservoir works area and occasional construction noise in the immediate vicinity including pipe cutting and reversing signals from machinery. Seqwater and its contractors will take all possible measures to keep the impact at minimum level as much as possible.
  • These works may affect your water pressure however will not impact your water supply.
