You can enjoy a picnic, bbq and a swim at The Spit at Lake Somerset. Just remember to bring your own drinking water supplies.

There is also a playground to keep the kids amused, and a double lane public boat ramp to launch your vessel or paddlecraft. Fishing is permitted with a permit.
